What commercial electrical problems require a 24/7 emergency service call?
Call for emergency commercial electrical service if your property experiences a partial or complete power loss, burning odors, sparking equipment, overheated panels, exposed wiring or breakers that will not remain on. VIPER ELECTRIC, LLC responds to urgent commercial electrical problems to identify the source, make the area safe and restore power when possible.
Do you handle scheduled commercial electrical repairs that are not emergencies?
Yes. We provide scheduled commercial electrical repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance for problems that do not require an immediate emergency response. This includes faulty lighting, damaged outlets, overloaded circuits, recurring breaker problems and electrical equipment connections.
What is included in a commercial tenant improvement electrical project?
Commercial tenant improvement work may include modifying the existing wiring, relocating outlets, adding dedicated circuits, updating lighting and connecting new equipment. We coordinate the electrical work with the property owner, tenant and other trades to ensure the remodeled space supports its intended use.
When should an electrical panel be replaced instead of repaired?
Replacement may be recommended when a panel is damaged, outdated, undersized or unable to support the property’s current electrical demand. Frequent breaker trips, overheating, corrosion and a lack of available circuit capacity can also indicate that a new electrical panel is needed.
What is the difference between an electrical panel upgrade and an electrical service upgrade?
A panel upgrade replaces or increases the capacity of the breaker panel, while an electrical service upgrade may also involve the meter, service entrance conductors and incoming power capacity. We evaluate the entire system to determine whether the property needs a panel replacement, a complete service upgrade or a more targeted repair.
Can you troubleshoot flickering lights, dead outlets and frequently tripping breakers?
Yes. These symptoms can result from overloaded circuits, loose connections, damaged devices, failing breakers or problems elsewhere in the electrical system. We perform electrical troubleshooting to locate the underlying issue before recommending the appropriate repair.
At what stage should an electrician become involved in a new construction project?
An electrician should be involved during the planning stage, before walls are closed and major equipment locations are finalized. Early coordination helps establish panel capacity, circuit layouts, lighting placement and power requirements for a new home or commercial building.
Can electrical work be completed while a business remains open?
Depending on the scope and condition of the system, portions of the work may be completed in phases to limit interruptions. We plan necessary shutdowns carefully and communicate with the business before disconnecting power or affecting active areas.
Are permits and inspections required for electrical remodeling or panel work?
Permit and inspection requirements depend on the type of electrical work and the rules of the municipality or county where the property is located. As a licensed and insured electrical company, VIPER ELECTRIC, LLC completes applicable work according to current code requirements and coordinates required inspections.
What areas does VIPER ELECTRIC, LLC serve?
We are based in Spring, TX, and serve homes, businesses and construction projects throughout Greater Houston and Southeast Texas. Our service area extends approximately 100 miles from Spring, although availability can depend on the project’s size, location and scheduling requirements.
